Who we are
BOSS Fitness manufactures and installs commercial gym equipment. Office: High School Road, in front of Bajrang Welding, Tilda, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. You can reach us at bossfitness65@gmail.com or +91 78697 10914. We are responsible for the personal data described on this page.
What we collect
- Enquiry and quote forms: your name, phone number and, if you provide them, email, company, city and the details of your project or question (for example the machines you are interested in, your space and budget).
- WhatsApp, phone and email: when you choose to contact us this way, we receive your number or email address and whatever you send us. WhatsApp messages are also handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
- Quote list and compare: machines you add are saved only in your own browser (local storage) so the list is still there when you come back. We do not receive it unless you send it to us.
- Website analytics (only if you accept): if you click "Accept" on the analytics notice, Google Analytics records which pages you visit, how you arrived, your device and browser type and your approximate location (city level). It uses cookies whose names start with
_ga. If you decline, no analytics code is loaded. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotations, layouts and delivery or installation plans.
- To provide service, repairs and spare parts for equipment we supplied.
- To understand, in total and not per person, which pages are useful so we can improve the website (analytics, only with your consent).
- To keep records we are required to keep by law, for example for invoices.
We process enquiry details because you asked us to contact you, and analytics data only on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who handles it for us
We use trusted service providers who process data only to run this website for us:
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- Supabase: stores enquiries and the product catalogue. Our database is hosted in Mumbai, India.
- Cloudinary: stores and delivers product photographs (no personal data).
- Google Analytics: website statistics, only if you accept analytics.
- WhatsApp (Meta): only when you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
Some of these providers may process data outside India. We share only what is needed for the service they provide.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond, to quote and to support equipment you buy from us, and afterwards only as long as the law requires us to keep business records. You can ask us to delete your details at any time (see below).
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or update it;
- delete it, where we do not need to keep it by law;
- withdraw consent you have given (for example for analytics);
- address a complaint about how we handled your data.
Write to bossfitness65@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request". We will reply as quickly as we can. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies and similar storage
- Essential: your quote list, compare list and your analytics choice are saved in your browser so the site works as expected. Staff who sign in to the admin area also receive a sign-in cookie.
- Analytics (optional): Google Analytics cookies (
_ga,_ga_*), set only after you click "Accept".
You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time.
Security
Enquiries are stored in a database that only authorised BOSS Fitness staff can read, and every connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS). No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and adults buying gym equipment. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date at the top.
